Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

This palette has been a cult beauty product amongst make up obsessives and bloggers for months now, and I finally managed to get my hands on one. It's my first Anastasia Beverly Hills product, and I'm seriously impressed. There are so many newly launched eyeshadow palettes out there (most of them- in my possession), but this one is just outstanding. Honestly, believe the hype!

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics Palette

I'm such a huge Urban Decay fan, and a few months ago they launched a new eyeshadow palette in the Naked range called 'Naked Ultimate Basics'. I don't think I've ever been an avid lover of a nude eyeshadow palette (I usually purchase my nudes as singles) as I'm quite fussy with palettes.

Tuesday

Huda Beauty Rose Gold Edition Palette

Oh my goodness! This palette launched on Cult Beauty a couple of weeks ago, and I honestly thought there was going to be a scramble for it as everyone had waited ages for it to launch after weeks of teasing from Cult Beauty. However, the palette was available for a couple of days before selling out. I think this was because of the hefty £56 price tag- I saw a lot of people complaining on Twitter about this and I have to agree with them, but temptation got the better of me!

GOSH 9 Shades: To be cool in Copenhagen

GOSH recently unveiled its SS16 collection at the Metro hotel in London, and I loved every single piece of it. The new collection sings to the tune of natural/raw beauty, and consists of matte lipsticks, illuminating highlighting drops, lip oils, nude eyeshadow sticks, and of course- a sister palette of the 9 shades shadow collections: To Be Cool In Copenhagen. The concept of natural looking beauty really appeals to me, and I'm glad that GOSH has covered it.

Monday

Chanel LA Sunrise: Illusion D'Ombre in Griffith Green

Chanel recently launched their L.A. Sunrise collection, and here I have one of the Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadows in Griffith Green. If anyone was to ask me what my favourite eyeshadow is, Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre would be my answer- without a doubt. Yes- they're priced at £25 each but the quality of them exceeds almost every eyeshadow I've tried.

GOSH 9 Shades Palette: To Play With In Vegas review

GOSH recently launched a collection of 9-shade eyeshadow palettes inspired by American cities; New York, Los Angeles, and Vegas. Like Vegas itself, the Vegas palette is full of bright colours that any girl would fall in love with.

The palette itself is super sleek and compact, with an incredibly clear mirror that's decent sized. It's a shame that the palette doesn't come with an eyeshadow brush, but I think this is because GOSH want you to use good professional brushes (that probably wouldn't fit in the palette) in order to get the best out of the eyeshadows.

Make Up Revolution launch

A brand new cosmetics brand called Make Up Revolution launched today in Superdrug. I went to preview the brand's products last Monday at the St. Martins Lane Hotel near Trafalgar Square.

The products available include lots of colourful eyeshadows, lipsticks of every colour [including yellow and blue!], and foundations suiting a variety of skin tones. What struck me is how affordable the products are; the lipsticks retail at £1 and nail polishes are £1.50 each!

The eyeshadows are also good dupes of the Urban Decay palettes. I swatched the lipsticks and they're intensely creamy and they pop in colour [even the yellow one was powerful in colour- I was expecting it to be quite sheer]. You can check out Make Up Revolution by clicking here. Here are some photos of the products from the launch:

Dainty Doll 'Treat Her Like A Lady' Eyeshadow!

Dainty Doll Eyeshadow
Dainty Doll Eyeshadow in 'Treat Her Like A Lady'
If you don't already know, Dainty Doll is a make-up line by Nicola Roberts- 1/5 of Girls Aloud which consists of eyeshadows, eyeliners, mascaras, false lashes, lipsticks, foundations/concealers, and blushers.

Dainty Doll eyeshadows are in the form of a compact mirror and one particular shade I like is called 'Treat Her Like A Lady', which is a gorgeous nude silver champagne shade that I thought wouldn't be pigmented at all at first, but I can definitely say I was wrong! The shade is beautiful and sparkly so it's definitely a shade to wear if you wish to achieve a simple yet glamorous look.

Midnight Fairy-tale Eyeshadow look!

I created this look very spontaneously; I wasn't planning it- I just wanted to experiment with my BeautyUK eyeshadow palette and I loved the end result so I whipped out my camera and took a few snaps.

I found the eyeshadows of BeautyUK very easy to apply, and I love the colours in this eyeshadow collection. The look I created reminds me of the connotations and associations with the word 'Midnight' because of the blue/purple colour coordination, and the shimmery white eyeshadow reminding me of a fairy-tale. I initially wanted to apply a stroke of eyeliner to add a sultry touch to the look, but after applying the eyeshadow I didn't want to ruin it as I thought it looked really nice as it is.

I have also included the numbered steps on the images below to give you an idea of what I did to achieve this look!

Let me know what you think!
