YSL have just launched a brand new fragrance and mascara as a duo- Black Opium Floral Shock and The Shock mascara. This is the first time that YSL have done a make up and fragrance co-launch, and it's a good one.
I've been obsessed with Black Opium for quite some time now, but it was only until YSL sent me a very special package last week containing the collection that I re-discovered my love for it. You see- when summer came around earlier this year, I stashed all of my cold-weather appropriate fragrances away including Black Opium. But now I'm glad I'm able to wear it again now that Winter has arrived.
This lipstick is the perfect addition to your summer make-up bag- even if the weather doesn't agree with it!
It is a gorgeous pink coral shade that I immediately fell in love with. I'm obsessed with all things coral-whether that be orangey, red, or pinky- and this lipstick was no exception.
The colour is so gorgeous, and it makes the lips look very silky, and the lipsticks are quite well pigmented too to a good extent considering how well moisturising the product is. These lipsticks offer a medium to full coverage, which in my experience is easily buildable.
This particular lipstick is from the YSL Pur Couture Golden Lustre range, which is the smoothest lipstick I have ever tried due to its amazing satin finish, and moisturising texture. Plus, the lipstick has golden shimmers to it, which is brilliant if you're trying to achieve a bronzed look.
Although pricey, YSL make the most amazing lipsticks. If you're still on the hunt for that perfect lipstick, you should probably give a few YSL ones a go too; they have a few lipstick ranges, and loads of shades for you to choose from.
Unlike most other premium beauty brands, YSL lipsticks have a lot more actual product- i.e. more lipstick inside the elegant, golden, double mirror packaging. I was expecting only a small amount of lip product, considering how expensive the lipstick was, so I was quite surprised.
Have you tried any YSL lipsticks? What do you think?

Pastels and brights are huge this season and you can't express this exciting trend better than with the colour of your nails! Let's take a look at the nail colours from the Spring 2012 Collections of premium brands.
In YSL's Spring 2012 Collection, there is a mint green shade, a neon orange shade, a candy-floss pink shade, and a deep brown shade.
Chanel have opted for light yet vibrant apricot shade, and a ballerina pink shade in terms of pastel colours, but also in the collection is a red/brown shade for those who'd rather opt for deep, strong lacquer shades.
Dior have launched two neon nail lacquer shades in their Spring Collection; one shade is a royal purple, and the other is a bright green- both shades are quite florescent so you'd really be making a statement with these.
Givenchy has a classic red nail lacquer shade, keeping the red nails tradition alive.
Thankfully, you don't have to splurge and break the bank for these lovely colours- here are some affordable alternatives from the Andrea Fulerton range that are just as awesome.
Andrea Fulerton is a celebrity nail technician with her very own nail range available in Superdrug. The nail colours are amazing for quick-drying, non chipping nail colour with an good brush that easily paints your nails with a colour that lasts long.
These colours are from the main Andrea Fulerton range- which just about says that she pretty much has every occasion colour covered.
Above (From Left to Right): Andrea Fulerton Nail Colour in Beatrice, Carrie, Debbie, Eva, Jessica, and Naomi. RRP: £4.99 each from Superdrug.
We are in love with these YSL lipsticks! YSL have the best lipsticks for a premium beauty brand- in terms of both wonderful designs and product!
These lipsticks are available in a range of shades- Browns, Corals, Reds, Golds, and Purples, so we're pretty sure you'll be able to find the perfect lipstick shade for you!
The lipsticks are shimmery and have an incredible festive touch to them, so make sure you stock up on a couple of these before the Christmas break or gift them to your friends (these make great gifts- the lipstick's sleek, golden packaging is enough for anyone's eyes to gleam!)
Because the lipsticks are sheer and incredibly smooth in consistency, the application is pretty easy and the lipstick tends to glide onto your lips (Believe us, a lipstick that can glide is the one to spend good money on!)
This product looks really elegant and really expensive so its a real show off in your hand-bags :)
When applied, the product is quite pigmented but not too full on due to its shimmery-ness. But we do love a bit of glitter and sparkle!
