Emporio Armani Stronger With You

Despite the cheesy name, this is quite an impressive fragrance. It's a rather strong, luxurious scent; I got a friend to test it out for me, and he couldn't stop raving about the longevity.
Notes:
Top notes: Pink Pepper Essence, Apple Accord, Violet Leaves Accord
Heart: Lavender Essence, Sage Essence, Cardamom Essence, Cinnamon Essence
Base notes: Glazed Chestnut Accord, Cedar Tree Essence, Guaiac Essence, Amber Wood

As you can see, there are plenty of intense notes (Sage, Cardamom, Cinnamon) that come into play during the scent's development. The sweet cardamom and amber wood- to me- are the most prominent notes. It's an interesting fragrance as it's warm and oriental yet slightly sweet at the same time. The sweetness surprised me as I was expecting a very spicy, overwhelming scent.

I've heard some comparisons of this to Paco Rabanne's One Million, and I really must disagree. Although Stronger With You is not the most original scent on the fragrance market, it's definitely a good one as it's modern and classy. I actually haven't yet tried the women's version (as I'm more of an Armani Si fan!), but I'm told that's a decent fragrance too.

Emporio Armani's Stronger With You by Emporio Armani is available nationwide.

Wednesday

Giorgio Armani Si Rose Signature

It's very difficult for me to pick a favourite fragrance brand (primarily due to the fact that I own so many fragrances) so I'd have to pick a handful. It's safe to say that Giorgio Armani is most definitely one of them, amongst others including Viktor & Rolf and Tom Ford.

Si Rose Signature is a re-interpretation of the original Si. The original is absolutely fantastic and has been a staple fragrance of mine ever since its launch in 2013. The luxuriousness and elegance of the sensual fragrance is something that makes it an absolute pleasure to wear. Si Rose Signature is an interpretation of the popular chypre scent.

As you can perhaps guess by the name, the rose notes remain at the core of Si Rose- May Rose and Turkish Rose (two rose absolutes). It's more floral and much lighter in comparison to the original, making it a better choice to wear in the summer months. In my opinion, Si is strong and can be very overwhelming if too much is sprayed.

Despite this, the original Si still exists in the tones of Si Rose. This is because the top and base notes are the same- only the heart is different as it includes rose absolutes. Top notes include bergamot and mandarin oil, and the base notes consist of patchouli oil and vanilla absolute.

Also- to my surprise, despite being lighter and fresher, Si Rose lasts quite long. Much longer than I expected it to anyway. I still do prefer the original, but I'll be hanging onto this for when it's a bit warmer outside!

Giorgio Armani Si Rose Signature is priced at £73 for 50ml. It's available to purchase nationwide.

Paco Rabanne Lady Million Lucky

Lady Million Lucky launched last year and is definitely one of my favourite fragrances from that year. Although I love the original, sometimes I do feel that the original Lady Million's a bit too obvious now so I like how Paco Rabanne are still launching more sister scents, and I hope there's another upcoming one this year.

It reminds me very much of one of the perfumes I purchased in Dubai (which was over 3 times the price!), so that's pretty positive in my opinion! Let's take a look at the fragrance notes.

Saturday

Paco Rabanne Lady Million Privé

Last week, I reviewed Paco Rabanne's 1 Million Privé, and I mentioned how I thought of it as far more superior than the original 1 Million scent. Well, that's also the case for Lady Million Privé. Isn't it such a gorgeous bottle?!

Friday

Paco Rabanne 1 Million Prive

One Million has been an iconic fragrance for years, and there's not one guy I know who isn't a fan. I first discovered it fragrance when I was 16 and Paco Rabanne were pushing for sales in Debenhams. Although it was a men's fragrance, I loved it and recommended it to all of my male friends who then went on to try it out for themselves.

1 Million Prive is an interpretation of the popular fragrance, and I usually find that follow-up fragrances are never as good as the originals but this one definitely is. Paco Rabanne really know how to create a fragrance!

Carolina Herrera Good Girl

Oh my goodness. It's been ages since a big Carolina Herrera launch, and it's a pretty exciting one. Good Girl is a fragrance that captures the spirit and imagination of a modern, powerful woman, and I was lucky to get my hands on a bottle before its release on February 10th.

Thursday

Ghost Christmas: Sweetheart and Eclipse

What I love about Ghost is that their fragrances are great for everyone- from teenagers to Mothers. I remember when my Mum and I used to share the same Ghost perfume when I was 14 (I think it was Deep Night).

Ghost Sweetheart gift set - £27

Ghost Sweetheart was launched in 2008 and is a floral oriental scent that's sweet and fresh. It's such a gorgeous fragrance as it's gentle and vanilla-ry. Let's take a look at the notes:

Top notes: Spearmint, Lemon, Pineapple
Heart notes: Rose, Jasmine
Base notes: Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Patchouli

Monday

Armani Code

I remember trying out Armani Code in Boots when I was 16 and on the search for a gift for my Mum. It's strange because at that time, I wasn't a fan of it at all and now I am. I used to go for fresh, fruity/floral scents and now I prefer fragrances that are bold with a bit more depth. Armani Code definitely offers that.

Friday

Aramis Modern Leather

Aramis is definitely an underrated men's fragrance brand. They launch a new limited edition fragrance every year, and have recently launched one called 'Modern Leather'.

Modern Leather is an elegant, woody fragrance and is a contemporary twist on the original Aramis, with more distinguished notes in order to capture a sense of 'modern' masculinity.

Sunday

Paco Rabanne Pure XS

This is currently one of the biggest fragrance launches, and I'm not at all surprised. Paco Rabanne's One Million and Invictus fragrances have managed to uphold their reputations as some of the most popular and fast-selling scents in the month of December. So it's inevitable that many men have- no doubt- heard of, and wish to try out their latest venture, Pure XS.

Wednesday

Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon Spring/Summer

The original Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon is incredibly iconic that's loved by millions of women. They've just launched a summer edition for 2017, and although we're not getting much sun here in the UK- this interpretation of the original is actually very good.

Saturday

Jimmy Choo L'Eau fragrance

Jimmy Choo launched their new fragrance L'Eau earlier this year, and is a sister scent to their debut one in 2011. It's light and summery, and vibrant as soon as it's sprayed. There's pretty much zero waiting time to discover the nature of the fragrance.

YSL Black Opium Floral Shock and The Shock Mascara

YSL have just launched a brand new fragrance and mascara as a duo- Black Opium Floral Shock and The Shock mascara. This is the first time that YSL have done a make up and fragrance co-launch, and it's a good one.

Friday

DKNY Be Delicious City Collection

I always anticipate the annual launch of DKNY's trio fragrance collections, and so I was excited about what would be the theme of this year's. Titled the 'City Collection', the idea is to portray the different type of New York 'city girl' personalities. DKNY are always so proud of New York City, and these fragrances are named after areas in the city itself- Brooklyn Girl, Chelsea Girl, Nolita Girl.

Wednesday

Elie Saab fragrance

I was a big fan of Elie Saab's Rose Couture fragrance that launched earlier this year, so I was excited to find out whether the original fragrance (launched in 2011) is just as lovely. And it did not disappoint at all!

Tuesday

YSL Black Opium collection

I've been obsessed with Black Opium for quite some time now, but it was only until YSL sent me a very special package last week containing the collection that I re-discovered my love for it. You see-  when summer came around earlier this year, I stashed all of my cold-weather appropriate fragrances away including Black Opium. But now I'm glad I'm able to wear it again now that Winter has arrived.

The bottles are absolutely stunning and look very Christmassy with the texturised, glitter effect, making them the perfect festive gifts for friends and family.

Thursday

Crush by Rihanna

In my opinion, Britney and Rihanna both rule the celebrity fragrance world. They launch lovely, unique fragrances that remain staples for many women (think Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna and Fantasy by Britney). A couple of months ago, Rihanna launched her 7th fragrance, Crush- a sister fragrance to last year's RiRi.

Wednesday

DKNY Be Tempted

Whenever DKNY announce the launch of a new apple-shaped bottle fragrance, I experience a warm, fuzzy feeling inside and they never disappoint. My favourite seasons of the year are Autumn and Winter, and DKNY's Autumn fragrances always help to create memories that form alongside the experiences of cold winter evenings. For instance, wearing fashionable coats and scarves, sipping Autumn inspired coffees, and the excitement in the run-up towards the festive season.

DKNY have launched a new Autumn fragrance for 2016- Be Tempted- and oh, how beautiful it is! Although the bottle is a lookalike of the shiny red apple in Snow White, Be Tempted is anything but poisonous. It's a warm, luxurious, fruity fragrance that's sure to turn a few heads around!

Thursday

Lacoste Pour Elle Elegant

A few months ago, Lacoste launched a trio collection of fragrances: Pour Elle Natural, Pour Elle Elegant, and Pour Elegant Sparkling. Here, I review the Elegant.

Pour Elle Elegant is a fresh floral fragrance with musky tones and makes a fantastic day perfume as it's subtle and not overpowering. Lacoste are great for their fresh, light fragrances, and they haven't disappointed with this one.

Tuesday

Elie Saab Rose Couture

Rose-centered fragrances tend to be quite sweet and sickly, but not Elie Saab Rose Couture. They've somehow managed to make a Rose fragrance with Vanilla that's subtle, classy, and not at all powdery.
