Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Wash and Mask!

Big Skincare Mystery!
I've been meaning to write about this for months! I was luckily invited to the Big Skincare Mystery event back in February where it was revealed that Clearasil was the brand behind the mystery! See post here: http://susmipatel.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/bags-of-beauty-blog-brand-behind-big.html

I was given a lovely goody bag when leaving the event, which was packed full of products from the range, which I have been using over the past few months! I can honestly say that the range has completely transformed my skin! The winner of my Clearasil giveaway also e-mailed me letting me know that she loved the range too! I love the whole range, but my fave product is the Vitamins & Extracts Face Wash and Mask.

Clearasil Vitamins & Extracts Face Wash and Mask

This was the actual product which played the main part of the Big Skincare Mystery back in January/February this year, and I was thrilled to see a full-sized sample of it in my goody-bag as I really like the mini deluxe sample (which I posted about back in February).

I have been using the Clearasil face wash and mask twice a day for months now and it has completely transformed my skin by hydrating it and overall making it a lot more smooth and supple. After using the face wash, I can see a visible difference in the appearance of my skin, plus my skin actually feels great as my face is naturally quite oily- the face wash balances the oiliness out, but not so much as to leave my skin feeling tight.

I feel that the product works better as a face wash than as a mask- however, this is just personal choice as it works better for my skin; my friend prefers to use it as a mask so I guess it depends on what your skin type or personal preference is. I do use it once a month as a mask though as I love chilling out by reading Cosmopolitan and listening to music whilst my skin is being luxuriously treated with good skin-care ingredients! I sometimes wash my hands with this as it makes my hands so smooth and prepped for a hand-lotion to be applied! But you'd obviously have to use an anti-bacterial hand-wash first!

The texture of the face wash is so creamy that a little goes a long way because it's easy to spread and apply all over the face, so the product lasts a surprisingly long time- since starting to use my tube of it in February, it still hasn't finished! I would recommend this face wash to all of you!

Have you tried this face wash and mask? What do you think? XX

Clearasil Seal To Clear Gel!

Spots are such a drag! Because they're so unpredictable, everyone hopes that one doesn't turn up at the wrong time at the wrong place... Imagine having a huge spot when you wake up on your birthday, the party of the year, or even your wedding day!

Squeezing is never good for spots even though you may think it gets rid of it. Squeezing will actually make it worse as it may cause permanent damage and pigmentation to your skin so it will do more harm than good.

Clearasil's Seal To Clear Gel can be a girl's best friend whenever you come across a surprise spot, or whenever you think a spot is about to get bigger and worse.

The gel comes in a handy 12ml tube (Perfect for handbags!) with which you should apply a drop of the gel over the spot and then create a thin layer over the area. This helps to seal your spot from becoming worse as well as reduce redness within 4 hours.

The consistency of the gel, surprisingly, isn't thick and sticky at all. In fact, the formula is rather balanced and it feels really smooth and almost feels like a primer. The product is also so easy to apply that you can 'Seal' your spot almost anywhere! Just make sure you wash your hands after you use it!

The Seal to Clear Gel retails at £6.50 and can be purchased at all major cosmetic/skincare retailers, including Boots and Superdrug.
