Armani Code

I remember trying out Armani Code in Boots when I was 16 and on the search for a gift for my Mum. It's strange because at that time, I wasn't a fan of it at all and now I am. I used to go for fresh, fruity/floral scents and now I prefer fragrances that are bold with a bit more depth. Armani Code definitely offers that.

I have to say that the fragrance lasts for ages! I can spray it on myself in the morning and the scent will still be going strong late in the evening so I don't have to carry the bottle around with me. In fact, I can even detect it on my coat the next day. It's so annoying when you find a nice fragrance that doesn't last long and so longevity is a very important factor for me.

Fragrance notes:
Top notes: Sambac Jasmine, Orange
Heart notes: Orange Blossom
Base notes: Honey, Madagascar Vanilla

Obviously the scent of orange is quite dominant and stays put throughout the fragrance's journey. It's not citrusy, but it's more of a spiced orange scent, making it elegant and feminine. The honey and vanilla go together well to form the base, allowing a creamy dry down to linger on the skin.

It's a warm, sensual fragrance that's mature, and also very powerful so only one spray is enough to last the day. I feel that the fragrance is a bit too much to wear in the summer months, but Armani Code is perfect to wear in the colder season.

Armani Code is priced at £48.50 for 30ml, and is available to purchase at The Perfume Shop HERE

Armani and Ysl are the best for fragrances imo though I prefer the turquoise version of Armani Code
