One Million has been an iconic fragrance for years, and there's not one guy I know who isn't a fan. I first discovered it fragrance when I was 16 and Paco Rabanne were pushing for sales in Debenhams. Although it was a men's fragrance, I loved it and recommended it to all of my male friends who then went on to try it out for themselves.
Paco Rabanne have recently launched an interpretation of the popular fragrance, called 1 Million Prive and I usually find that follow-up fragrances are never as good as the originals but this one definitely is. Paco Rabanne really know how to create a fragrance!
Top notes: Mandarin, Cinnamon
Heart notes: Myrrh, Tabacco, Narguile Accord
Base notes: Patchouli, Tonka Bean1 Million Privé is a seductive woody oriental fragrance that's bound to get heads turning. The scent is a lot more refined in comparison to the original 1 Million and this is because of the inclusion of more mature notes in the scent, for example- cinnamon, and tobacco. It's a very warm, sensual scent with deep tones that still manages to stay true to the original.
The Cinnamon and Patchouli notes are the most dominant in my opinion and really work in this fragrance. Cinnamon can be very overpowering in other scents and 1 Million Privé quite versatile as it's not too strong. This one isn't any old flanker that's been churned out by Paco Rabanne- it's actually a gorgeous fragrance and another go-to option for 1 Million fans, particularly on colder days or in the evenings.
The fragrance bottle is also very beautifully designed in the form of a gold bar- just like the original 1 Million, but is much darker in shade. It just looks so expensive and luxurious. I know packaging isn't everything but this is exceptional and incredibly photogenic.
