Crush by Rihanna

In my opinion, Britney and Rihanna both rule the celebrity fragrance world. They launch lovely, unique fragrances that remain staples for many women (think Reb'l Fleur by Rihanna and Fantasy by Britney). A couple of months ago, Rihanna launched her 7th fragrance, Crush- a sister fragrance to last year's RiRi.

Crush is a lovely, fruity floral fragrance. It's very different to RiRi in the sense that Crush is more refreshing rather than exotic and flirty. Here's the list of notes for Crush:

Top Notes: Bergamot, Mandarin, Pink Peppercorn
Heart Notes: Pink Rose, Spicy Ylang, Red Berries
Base Notes: Creamy Musk, Cedarwood, Patchouli

The fragrance starts off as quite citrusy; the notes of bergamot and mandarin definitely come through but not in an overpowering way. The berries are also prominent after about 30 seconds but disappear rather quickly. As the base, the musk and patchouli really go well together to create a creamy drydown.

Crush has an adrenaline rush to the fragrance due to the powerful fruity notes. It's not a light, subtle fragrance but at the same time, it's not sickly.
I love the golden bottle color theme which is made up of the fragrance juice and the fancy bottle top. The overall look is quite premium, which is always a great factor. What's more, is that the fragrance retails at £40 for a 100ml bottle- a bargain in my opinion.

Also, what surprised me about Crush, is the longevity of it. Usually celebrity fragrances have awful lasting power so it's brilliant that this fragrance lasts all day.

Crush by Rihanna is priced at £40 for 100ml, and can be purchased nationwide.
