Chanel LA Sunrise: Illusion D'Ombre in Griffith Green

Chanel recently launched their L.A. Sunrise collection, and here I have one of the Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadows in Griffith Green. If anyone was to ask me what my favourite eyeshadow is, Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre would be my answer- without a doubt. Yes- they're priced at £25 each but the quality of them exceeds almost every eyeshadow I've tried.

Powder eyeshadows can get messy, and some cream eyeshadows cause creasing during the day. But this eyeshadow allows a clean application and maintenance isn't necessary as it doesn't crease- even after a long day. My eyeshadow will still look the same in the evening as when I first applied it in the morning.

Griffith Green isn't a bold green so it's not that scary to wear, as I first imagined. In fact, it's a lovely shade of teal green with a soft golden shimmer. The colour is buildable and starts off as subtle, but is still pigmented enough for a full coverage. If you're not a fan of green but are intrigued to try out Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadows, I highly recommend the shade 'Mirage'- a gorgeous shimmering gold.
With this eyeshadow, you can either use a brush or your fingers to apply. It comes with a small angled eyeshadow brush but I'd prefer to use my fingers as it's soft and creamy to the touch.

Chanel's Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow in Griffith Green is priced at £25 and can be purchased nationwide.

I like the look of it (love green!) but I'd prefer to wear it in the autumn xx
