Pixi Beauty: Nourishing Cleansing Balm

Cleansing Balms have recently become so popular and after trying out Pixi's new Nourishing Cleansing Balm, I now understand why.

I have to admit, I was a little frightened of using a balm to cleanse my face and remove my make up. I thought it'd have a horrible sticky feel to it and would be a absolute nightmare to rinse off. On the contrary,  it was a actually pleasure to use.

The Nourishing Cleansing Balm is a balm-to-oil cleanser that melts on your fingertips and works to remove all traces of make up effectively, leaving glowing skin that feels plump and soft. I tried the cleanser on Saturday night and found that I didn't need to use as much night cream as I usually do as my skin was already feeling so soft and moisturised.

To use the balm, you apply it onto damp skin using your fingertips and then use a face cloth to remove in circular motions. Both make up and balm are very easy to come off, and it doesn't leave a sticky or tight after feel.

The Balm is very subtle in terms of its almond scent. The Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E makes the cleanser a very gentle one, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin too.

The Cleansing Balm is priced at £18, which I think is quite moderate especially considering the price of Emma Hardie's Moringa Cleansing Balm. It's also just one of so many other skincare products that Pixi have recently launched- including a Glow Mud Mask, Hydrating Milky Mist, and even a 24k Eye Elixir (very intriguing!).
