Marc Jacobs Daisy Sorbet

I do love an MJ fragrance! Marc Jacobs recently launched two new limited edition Sorbet fragrances (sisters to the original Daisy). The Sorbet editions are refreshing, playful, very Summer appropriate, and are- like all MJ fragrances- both encapsulated in the most eye-catching flower bottles.

Daisy Sorbet
Daisy Sorbet is a lighter version of the original Daisy, making it more refreshing but the hint of the original is still present. It's the perfect scent if you prefer something floral and subtle that's not overwhelming. Personally, I think it makes a brilliant evening scent or for when the weather's a bit cooler.

The journey of the fragrance begins with a fruity burst of Pink Grapefruit, Pear, and Passion Fruit, moving into the heart formed of Jasmine Petals and Muguet. The base leaves a playful scent onto the skin thanks to the notes of Violet Wood, Cedarwood, and Sheer Musks.

Daisy Eau So Fresh (ESF) Sorbet
Daisy ESF Sorbet is an interpretation of the original Daisy ESF. Whilst the musky notes remain, the twist in Eau So Fresh Sorbet lies in the introduction of fruitier notes including mandarin, apple, and Jasmine, making the fragrance more sweet and feminine. ESF Sorbet is more fresher compared to Daisy Sorbet. The lasting power of this one is amazing- even in hot temperatures which is impressive.

Top notes include: Juicy Mandarin, Apple Blossom, and Lotus Flower; which then develop into the heart of Magnolia, Jasmine, and Wet Violet; finishing off with notes of Creamy Woods and Musk.

Marc Jacobs' Sorbet editions are available to purchase nationwide. Daisy Sorbet is priced at £52 for 50ml, and Daisy Eau So Fresh Sorbet is priced at £56 for 75ml
