Si by Giorgio Armani review

In 2013, Giorgio Armani launched a fragrance called 'Si', a unique, sophisticated chypre fragrance that's been a popular favourite for women globally, and I fell in love with it straight away.

The bottle of Si is fairly simple and the clear glass reveals the golden tinted juice, signifying that it's a luxurious, elegant fragrance. Overall, it looks like an expensive perfume.

I love chypre fragrances so Si is definitely the fragrance for me. I love how feminine, and luxurious it is; the scent embodies female power, confidence, and elegance. It's a bit of everything to be honest- sweet, floral, woody, and warm so it's unique.

Si begins its journey with a selection of exotic top notes including Sicilian Bergamot, Mandarin Oil, and Liquer de Cassis; which then develops into the floral heart of Rose de Mai Absolute, Neroli Absolute, and Egyptian Jasmine Absolute. Then, the notes of Patchouli Oil, Blond Woods, Amber, Ocarnox, and Vanille Absolute form the base notes of the fragrance, allowing a gorgeous sensual scent to linger on the skin.

I love wearing Si in the evenings and for special occasions as personally, I prefer something a little fresh for daytime. That being said, I sometimes am a bit cheeky and spritz a bit of Si in the morning if I feel like it.

Although it's a gorgeous scent, it can be a little overwhelming if you overdo it with Si, so less is definitely more with this fragrance. I only tend to spray this once or twice and the longevity is fantastic so I can imagine the bottle lasting for an incredibly long time! This justifies the price of the fragrance- it's quite expensive compared to others on the market (the 50ml bottle is priced at £67).

Si definitely has now a place in my fragrance 'favourites' collection- which includes BOSS Nuit, Escada Born in Paradise, and Diesel Loverdose.

Si by Giorgio Armani is priced at £67 for 50ml and can be purchased at The Fragrance Shop
