NEW | Real Techniques Sculpting Set

I've met Sam and Nic (Pixiwoo) quite a few times before at press launches, and they are incredibly lovely, and I love having a chat with them! We've talked make-up, holidays, weight loss, and even the London Riots haha!

.I swear by their Real Techniques brushes and have owned the Core collection and the Eye Starter Kit for a long time. I have always found their brushes to be brilliantly efficient yet affordable. Now the girls are launching a new set called the 'Sculpting Set', which includes all the tools you need to accentuate facial features by contouring, highlighting, or enhancing natural bone structure. The set includes two existing Real Techniques brushes and a new exclusive one, all in a shiny pink colour as opposed to the matte finish of the brand's other brushes (except for Bold Metals).

Sculpting Brush
Everyone is contour-crazy right now and this brush is great in achieving that perfect contour. This brush has a wide angled head, making contouring so much easier whilst allowing definition. The Sculpting Brush can also be used to apply blush.

Setting Brush
The Setting Brush is made for adding the finishing touches to your make up. Whether you want to apply a setting powder or highlighter, the brush is versatile enough to be used for either. Personally, I think this also makes a fantastic brush to apply concealer under the eyes as it covers the area well and is super soft so it doesn't feel uncomfortable.

Fan Brush
This is the new 'Exclusive Cut' in the set; a flat fanned out brush that's a great staple for any make up brush collection as they're versatile in terms of use. Not only is it great for applying foundation powder lightly and highlighting cheekbones with precision, but fan brushes are also brilliant at wiping away any excess product without ruining the rest of your make up. We've all experienced a time when we applied a bit too much blush on our cheeks so the fan brush is perfect for cleaning up our little mistakes.

I used the fan brush this morning to sweep up some powder eyeshadow fall down on my cheeks, and I love how amazingly soft it is. The brush lives up to its claims: gently removing excess make up has never been easier. It's definitely now one of my favourite brushes alongside Real Technique's Contour Brush and Deluxe Crease Brush.

The new Real Techniques Sculpting Set launches this month in selected Superdrug stores. Will you be picking one up?
