L'Oreal Paris Exclusive Nudes

I reviewed Blake's Red back in December which really impressed me as perhaps one of the best lipsticks available on the High Street, so obviously I had to try L'Oreal Paris' Exclusive Nudes- a collection I had high expectations for. In this post, I have four shades from the collection: Liya, Eva, Julianne, and Frieda. Thankfully, they didn't disappoint.

The shades aren't your average nudes- but are nudes with a pop of colour and shimmer to them, which is why I think these lipsticks are great. Particularly as the shades are individually aimed at various skin tones. The colour payoff for each are quite sheer at first but are build-able, and all of them offer a pearlescent finish without being overwhelmingly glittery (and annoying).

Clearly, not every shade will suit you (depending on skin tone) but there is definitely a shade for everyone as there's quite a few shades in the collection. Personally, I think only Frieda's Nude suited me as it was a nude that didn't make me look washed out, and had the perfect balance of colour and shimmer.

As ever with L'Oreal Paris' Colour Riche lipsticks, they are rich and creamy in terms of formula and the sweet, floral scent (I think it's roses or parma violets) of the product is absolutely divine.

My favourite is definitely Frieda's Nude, which I've worn below. What I love about this shade in particular was that it suited my fair Asian skin tone, and the frosty finish is beautiful meaning that no extra lip gloss is required due to the shine. Frieda's Nude is a cool-toned, mauve nude that is quite versatile in the sense that women of both light and dark skin tones can wear it.

L'Oreal Paris' Exclusive Nudes lipsticks are priced at £6.99 and can be purchased from Boots and Superdrug.

  2. I just got Eva's and loving it. I have the Jennifer's Nude and really enjoy the formula and shade. I was never into nudes before thinking they would make me look sick but these have hints of neutral shades which are awesome.
