Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle review!

Lacoste launched a new fragrance a few weeks back, and it's not what I expected as I associate female Lacoste fragrances with the tall curvy pink bottles.

From the bottle's appearance, I was expecting the fragrance to be a strong overpowering spicy scent [a scent type I don't usually go for], but having a sniff after spraying it on my wrists proved me wrong.

The fragrance's notes are very intriguing; it starts off with a citrusy burst of top notes including Pink Pepper and Tart Blackcurrant; which then develops into the sweet nougat heart which is made up of Turkish Rose and Sweet Pea; and final notes of sweet Nougatine and Amber form the sweet yet sensual creamy dry-down. The first note that hits the nose is the Tart Blackcurrant, which I think is a lovely start to the fragrance.

I feel that the top notes are very well chosen in the fragrance as obviously they're the most important because of the wearer's first impressions and all. The citrusy top notes are designed in such a way that it encourages the anticipation of the other notes in the developing of the fragrance, and the journey from the citrusy notes to the sweet nougat notes is so gorgeous! I classify Lacoste fragrances as sporty daytime fragrances but Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle is definitely a sexy, elegant fragrance perfect for the evenings. It's perfect as a Mother's Day gift this Sunday too!

The spheric deep blue/purple coloured bottle is embossed with the Lacoste crocodile logo, and I love the cute little Lacoste charm that swings loosely to the side. Lacoste has also stayed true to the brand's sporty theme by making the pattern of the bottle top resemble a tennis racket!

Eau De Lacoste Sensuelle is available to purchase at The Perfume Shop, and retails at: £32.50 for 30ml, £44.50 for 50ml, and £60.50 for 90ml.
