Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover!

I converted from make-up wipes to oil based make-up removers/cleansers about two years ago- and since then my skin has thanked me! It's a well known fact that some make-up wipes can be harsh and can strip the vital minerals off the skin.

I have quite oily skin so out of all of the oil based make-up removers I had tried, the majority of them made my skin even oilier as they were thick in consistency. No7's Beautiful Skin Eye Make-Up Remover for example, did an excellent job in removing my make-up at the end of the day, but it left my skin feeling really greasy.

The newly launched White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover by Elemis is perfect for me. Okay yes- bi-phase make-up removers still tend to be greasy but the consistency of the Elemis one seemed to be a lot more lighter in comparison to the ones I've tried before.

To remove my eye make-up using this product, I applied a few drops onto a cotton pad and held it over my eyelid for about 20 seconds and then sweep the cotton pad across it to remove the make-up.

In terms of performance, I was really impressed with this make-up remover- it gently removed my stubborn eye make-up very quickly without irritating my eyes. I didn't have to rub my eyes either; my make-up literally glided off, leaving my eyes feeling a lot more refreshed. My skin did feel slightly oily after use but it quickly absorbs due to the bi-phase solution so it wasn't much of a problem for me.

Bi-phase solution basically means that there are two phases to the make-up remover; the oil phase which removes even the most stubborn and waterproof make-up, and the water phase to rinse the oil away from the skin. However I have to stress that for the bi-phase technology to work, the bottle needs to be shook so that the two phases come together.

The product also claims to condition the eyelashes; I can't really tell a difference in my lashes to be honest, but I can definitely say that it's nice to the lashes as none of mine fall out when removing my make-up anymore which is brilliant!

The formula consists of White Flowers, White Tea, and Marine Spring Water so it's perfect for those who have sensitive skin like me, and also for contact lens wearers.

I think it's great that Elemis launched a make-up remover for the eyes and lips as it's important to use something a little gentler on the eyes and it's great for those who wear lip-stains.

Elemis White Flowers Eye and Lip Make-Up Remover retails at £19 and can be purchased at www.timetospa.co.uk

  2. It is really necessary to use make-up remover not to clog the skin and all those stuffs.
